First, lemme just say, I loved the book, I loved the actors, I loved the look of the film, I loved Batman Begins, but I found this movie, The Prestige, soulless to its core. I blame the script. I found the relationships utterly... dead.
I only mention it in case there's anyone else out there who might have responded the way I did... We Are Not Alone, though we are apparently a tiny minority.
