I have to agree with debg up there in an earlier comment. See, thing is, while I live out on the West Coast of America too, I have deep ties to the famous Heartland and the people who live there. And I have no faith whatsoever that those people will elect either a woman or a black man. The amount of misogyny in this country is staggering; the amount of Clinton Hate equally so. While it's better hid these days (for the most part -- don't ask me about that n-word loving uncle of mine) there's still a lot of racism around. And dammit, Edwards is more progressive than either of them.
