(no subject)

What with writing, and going over to Rob and Avedon's to read comics, and having dinner with CSM and madamemiaow, and workmen and heat, I haven't felt like posting.

Nor especially do yet.

And then there was Who. ( I can be very embarrassing where spoilers are concerned )

I went to see the Superman movie this morning and need to think about it some more before I write my review - some amazing strengths and some really worrying weaknesses. I don't dislike it nearly as much as some people, but a Superman movie should not leave me going 'meh!' (stands for mediocre).

Part of the issue was that I looked at the recent Busiek mini-series and at the four Grant Morrison issues, and I remembered just how good this material can be.
