I kind of feel that way. It does seem a bit weird to see UK-based people declaring their commitment to gay marriage when, you know, to all intents and purposes we've already got it here. Of course I don't want to see queer Californians denied the same rights that I have, but I'm personally way more interested in seeing civil partnership in Ireland.
