For some reason the first things that came to mind were the finale of Being Human S2 with all the mirror tricks, which I watched a couple of evenings ago, and the Red Dwarf CSI parody where they relentlessly zoom/enhance on reflection after reflection to find out something they can easily learn by looking at the back of the photo (apologies if I'm remembering it wrong). Sorry, that seems to be where my brain is right now.
