Unable to write, so...

1. I am doing quizzes and discovered that I am quite bright, really, or alternatively someone who went through a British education in the Sixties.

You paid attention during 100% of high school!

85-100% You must be an autodidact, because American high schools don't get scores that high! Good show, old chap!

Do you deserve your high school diploma?

2. Since I am quite blocked, and need to get over post-book blues faster than usual, I'm putting myself up for the two character meme. You know the drill, two characters from any fandoms I might reasonably be supposed to know about, mixed and matched, and I won't promise a story, but will at least deliver a storyline.

I went through a British education from 1984 to 1997, from the tailend of the sixties child-centredness to the beginnning of the National Curriculum, and I got 100% too. Admittedly, I was never taught to recognise a dangling modifier, but I'm considerably less impressed with the American education system now.

Just as well they didn't ask me anything about history, because I would probably have failed that.

Because I have an irrational liking for characters meeting their own look-alikes, and still too much love for Buffy crossovers:

Cordelia (Angel) and Kendall (Veronica Mars)

Willow (Buffy) and Trina Echolls (VM)

More Dawn and Celeste (and Kennedy)

If none of those appeal:

Tara and Jenny Sparks

Buffy and Power Girl (didn't Buffy say she wanted to be Power Girl?)

Wallace (Veronica Mars) and Oz - just hanging out somewhere

Dexter (Dexter) and the Corinthian (Sandman)

Joyce Summers and Death (Sandman)

Declining educational standards

I got 100% too - perhaps confirming the English education in the 1960s hypothesis.

On 2, let's cause some real intellectual unacceptability - Gimli and any of CS Lewis' Narnia dwarves,
