Before anyone gets too starry-eyed about David Davis and his resignation, they should remember that one of the aspects of Labour policy to which he takes specific objection is provisions against hate speech. Can't have nice clergymen banged up for telling people to hate queers, don'ya know?

This is also some sort of weird power play against Cameron by someone who objects to all the touchy-feely not-the-nasty-party stuff.
