A brave choice, unfortunately it seem the vast bulk of facebook users have no idea of netiquette what so ever and think they can act as they pleased with out even attempting to figure out the mores and rules of different space on the internet.
Trolls will be trolls anywhere that doesn't have built-in controls, which is to say that I don't think it's even a matter of Facebook users not having an idea of netiquette, so much as some people not seeing why they have to treat those they disagree with decently.
