I am well behind on the Heathers chapter, partly because I keep rewatching it, relishing it and occasionally spotting new cool stuff. And can I say that the slash reading is totally the correct one, and Heather Chandler so wants to do Veronica that it hurts?

Glad to know I'm not the only one that thinks that Heathers wants to be lesbian porn.
I always suspected that all 3 of the Heathers were gettin' it on at every opportunity. No way those 3 were the way they were with each other without a little sexual stuff thrown in for good measure.

I can't really see how there can be a completely straight reading of the text, given how much their arguments end up being all about sex and sexuality. ("You won't sleep with that guy!" "You care more about that boy than about me!" "You're a cunt except the actress playing Heather C won't say cunt!") And how much gay was a part of the universe, from Ram and Kurt to the geeks. And how much Heather and Veronica would have had the Best. Hate sex. EVER.

...That last part doesn't really help the case, but it's totally true.
