So, the reason why the sinister rightwing bitch who is all too close to the Americans seemed familiar is that she played the upper-class dyke lover in 'Tipping the Velvet', which at least settles that for me.

On the other hand,, I didn't quite see why everyone was so happy at the end given that we never saw them arrest several key members of the ultra-Green bombers. Specifically, the woman who did the communiques over the phone was never seen again - is this a plot point or just crappiness.

On the other hand, it is a smart and literate show when it is not overloading everything with ponderous verbal significance or running round and round in basements.
